The Durfort-Vivens vineyard, composed of 83 blocks, spans 4 communes of the Margaux appellation: Cantenac, Soussans, Margaux, and Arsac.
Assembled, the best plots are the origin of our grand wine, Château Durfort-Vivens. Vinified separately, the blocks of this parcel give rise to 3 cuvées: Les Plantes, Le Plateau, and Le Hameau, “Les Parcelles de Durfort-Vivens”.
These cuvées each represent a facet of the DNA of Durfort-Vivens: Les Plantes for freshness, Le Plateau for power, and Le Hameau for elegance.
“Les Plantes 2020, ‘La Gourmandise’.
On the nose, very marked iodized notes. Subtle notes of red fruits and chocolate as well. On the palate, the wine makes you salivate, followed by a long and gentle freshness. The texture is supple and gourmet.”
Léopold Valentin, Technical Director
