Description
Small, shiny, oval-shaped blond seed, about 6 mm long, interesting for its mucilage content (when crushed and in contact with water, it takes on a viscous consistency).

Can be eaten whole, crushed or ground. Sprinkle on salads or breakfast cereals. Also great in breads, breadcrumbs, crumbles, cakes, pastry shells, etc. Blended, they are delicious mixed with yoghurt or a sauce. Store in a cool, dry place away from light.
