Phare d’Eckmühl Brittany Sardines in Spring Water are prepared from Sardina pilchardus, responsibly caught by purse seine off the coast of Brittany or Cornwall in the North-East Atlantic Ocean. They are gently steam cooked to preserve their authentic flavour, texture and nutritional qualities.

This recipe contains 50% less salt than the average olive oil sardine products on the market. Naturally rich in omega-3 fatty acids (2.7 g/100 g), these sardines also provide 22 g of protein per 100 g, together with vitamin D, vitamin B12 and are a natural source of calcium thanks to their edible bones.
