Second Wine of Château Haut-Bages Libéral, Pauillac Appellation
Nose with aromas of vanilla and dark chocolate mingling with black fruits and spices. Crunchy, round palate with black cherry aromas.
Certified Organic Farming and practicing biodynamics.
Clay-limestone gravel around the property and deep gravel on the Bages plateau.
Parcel-based and tailor-made vinification (adapted in equipment, duration, and temperatures). Maceration with the addition of an inert gas to stimulate gentle movements. Vertical pressing to give special care to the presses.
50% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 50% Merlot
In conversion
12 months of aging including:
40% in ovoid vats
40% in one-wine barrels
20% in new barrels
