Thai rice is a rice known for its natural scent of jasmine. It is a long, fine grain rice. As the name suggests, this strain is originally from Thailand. It is also called fragrant rice or jasmine rice. Semi-brown rice allows a reduction in cooking time while retaining many of the nutritional properties of brown rice.
The high starch content in rice gives it very interesting nutritional properties for the body. Semi-brown rice is a good compromise between brown rice and white rice. He knew how to preserve part of the germ and the outer shell of the grain (the bran). It therefore provides an interesting amount of nutrients.
Count about 60g of rice per person. Put the rice to cook in a saucepan and cover largely with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook for 12 minutes over medium heat. Drain and rinse at your convenience.
