The high starch content in rice gives it very interesting nutritional properties for the body. Brown rice is made up of the whole grain which has kept the germ and the outer shell (the bran). It thus provides a source of fiber and nutrients.
Count about 60g of rice per person. Put the rice to cook in a saucepan and cover largely with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook for 25 minutes over medium heat. Drain and rinse at your convenience.
