Riz basmati whole grain 500g Organic

Basmati rice is a variety of naturally flavored rice. It is a long and very thin grain cream colored rice with a delicate nutty aroma. This aroma and texture make Basmati rice the most sought after in the world. The name “Basmati” comes from the hindi, meaning “queen of perfume”. Wholemeal basmati rice (or brown basmati rice) is the most complete of the rice and retains most of its nutrients.

The high starch content in rice gives it very interesting nutritional properties for the body. Brown rice is made up of the whole grain which has kept the germ and the outer shell (the bran). It thus provides a source of fiber and nutrients.

Count about 60g of rice per person. Put the rice to cook in a saucepan and cover largely with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook for 25 minutes over medium heat. Drain and rinse at your convenience.
